PREP: 5 MINS & Soak Overnight

1 cup Mung Beans, soak over night
2 Onions
2 Medium Tomatoes
1 or 2 Medium Green Chillies
2 tbsp Fresh Cilantro Leaves
1 tsp Black Salt
1 tbsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Chaat Masala
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
2 tbsp Lemon Juice

Soak the mung beans over night, put them in a pan with 2 cups of water and bring to a simmer keep there till all the water has evaporated, transfer to a bowl and add the chopped tomatoes, chopped chillies, chopped Cilantro leaves and the rest of the ingredients, it’s typically served with a handful of sev which is crunchy chickpea noodles.
